Find ads with weak copy that is hurting my click-through rate and suggest stronger alternatives.

  1. Pull all active ads from my Google Ads account with their performance metrics (impressions, clicks, CTR, conversions)
  2. Identify ads with below-average CTR compared to other ads in the same ad group
  3. Analyze the underperforming ad copy for common weaknesses:
    • Generic headlines with no specific value proposition ("Best Service", "Click Here")
    • Missing call-to-action
    • No urgency or differentiator
    • Headlines that do not match the keywords in the ad group
    • Descriptions that repeat the headline instead of adding value
  4. For each weak ad, write 3 alternative headline and description variations that:
    • Include a clear benefit or differentiator
    • Match the search intent of the ad group keywords
    • Use proven copywriting patterns (numbers, questions, urgency)
  5. Create a Google Sheet with the weak ads, their metrics, the issues found, and the suggested alternatives
  6. Schedule a monthly review
