Analyze which ad headlines and descriptions are winning across all my campaigns and which should be retired.

  1. Pull all active ads from my Google Ads account with per-ad performance data (impressions, clicks, CTR, conversions, cost)
  2. For each ad group that has multiple ads running, compare their performance head-to-head:
    • Which headlines are driving the highest CTR?
    • Which descriptions are driving the most conversions?
    • Which ads have enough data to make a confident call (statistically significant)?
    • Which ads are still too new to judge?
  3. Identify clear winners and losers:
    • Ads with significantly lower CTR or conversion rate than the best ad in their group
    • Ads that have been running for 30+ days with no conversions
    • Top-performing ads that should be used as templates for other campaigns
  4. Build a Google Sheet with:
    • Ad group, ad headlines, ad descriptions, key metrics
    • Winner/loser/too early designation for each ad
    • Recommended action (keep, pause, iterate)
    • Winning patterns (what do the best ads have in common?)
  5. Email me the report with a summary of how much I could save by pausing the losers
  6. Schedule a bi-weekly review
